Core Responsibilities:
Strong understanding of the media landscape in China, continuously keeping up to date on new media trends, platforms and their ever-changing roles.
Strong cultural insight and unique understanding of modern Chinese identity and consumer behavior for building a long-term sustainable brand platform in China.
To develop strong creative briefs based on business briefs received from marketing teams.
To work closely with creatives to develop successful campaigns.
Be updated on global strategies and campaign proposals to be able to bridge global strategies with local insight and culture.
To drive and continue to innovate the format for regular encouragement sharing for internal OLA team and marketing teams.
Be able to present ideas clearly and strategically to internal and external stakeholders and partners.
Establish strong ties with strategist colleagues across the OLA hubs by participating in existing forums and new initiatives.

The awesome role of the Sr. Communication Strategist is to infuse consumer trends and media insight into the process of developing strong local campaigns for China and constantly increase the cultural relevance of the brand.
As Sr. Communication Strategist, you will play a key role in identifying killer insights to build the long-term brand platform in China and to support the continued building of the first-ever China-inspired LEGO play theme.
You will be responsible for translating business briefs into clear creative briefs based on consumer and shopper insights.
To be able to do this, there is a need for a person with experience in the diverse media platforms and ecosystems in China. There will be a large degree of collaboration with the Creative Directors, our other strategists, and colleagues in the China marketing team throughout the above process.
Do you have what it takes?
University degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
More than 10 years experience in strategy related roles.
Strong strategic portfolio, especially Global and local integrated campaign portfolio.
Strong consumer journey planning based on China channels and media eco system understanding.
An unwavering spirit and passion for pursuing the best strategic work.
May managing large projects or processes independently.
Native in Mandarin and fluent in English.
Experience in adapting global brand strategies and messages for local market, that are relevant to Chinese channels and media eco-systems.
