Philips Pricing Manager, Medical Equipment Business in Shanghai, China

Your role:

  • Coordinate price and line chart updates internally and with customers as part of Market Introduction Process / (target) Price reviews.

  • leverage internal and external data to provide insightful analysis and give the suggestions to marketing / finance team for pricing strategy。

  • Ensure price quotes and contracts are negotiated within the Commercial Policy guidelines。

  • Ensure price terms and customer investments reflect resp. customer counter performance and strategic fit.

  • Ensure proper functioning of the minimum price escalation process

  • Analyze pricing KPIs and act as a consultant towards sales, marketing and finance to drive continuous pricing and profitability performance improvements.

  • Put business insight into daily work, such as special price analysis, new biz situation handling, disc analysis, drive an efficient approach to support sales team in the most efficient manner.

  • Master data platform set up and synergy among systems (e.g. product/ market bundle)

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor's degree with> 8 years of working experience.

  • Experience in a pricing, commercial, finance, strategic, or audit role.

  • Experience working in a cross functional team.

  • Experience with working in a business with complex market/channel structures and Certified LEAN Advanced.

  • Strong commercial understanding.

  • Project management skills

  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills but also hands-on

  • Strong analytic tool skills (Excel mandatory and SAP/BW is preferred)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
