Job Description

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP: Building the right plan for the business, aligning organizational structure with strategic objectives, promoting optimum ways

of working and productivity to ensure a fit-for-purpose, high-performance organization.

• Partner the R&D Site Lead at Suzhou & AMEA VP for biscuit & baked snacks (B&BS) to set direction and lay foundation for a future-ready and agile

function.

• Build deep understanding of local business unit and align the strategy and goals with the broader B&BS regional strategy.

• Drive alignment of structure, processes and people practices to deliver on strategy and organizational goals.

• Help leaders set and communicate clear performance standards and expectations and differentiate and reward accordingly.

• Influence key stakeholders through an understanding of their needs and influences outcomes to deliver functional solutions that add business value.

• Collaborate with high trust and provide insightful challenges to line leaders. Adapt communication style based on the context and the audience.

• Provide support, guidance and address challenges in areas of hiring, compliance, performance management concerns, turnover and engagement.

• Participate in and drive regional or global developmental projects.

• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a matrix set up across diverse people initiatives to drive alignment and influence without direct authority.

• Knowledgeable about people practices and of how to apply them to enable business performance and employee engagement.

• Use knowledge and expertise network to resolve complex employee queries, escalate issues and propose solutions across teams.

• Coach on how to address people matters proactively/timely, with employee experience at the center.

• Promote MDLZ’s mission and values across the business and teams; uses data analytics to drive focus on individual and team performance.

• Partner with leaders in delivering clear messages that provide direction and create purpose for individuals and teams.

• Champion inclusion, design and implement initiatives to shape a growth-mindset culture and leverage technology to drive business outcomes.

TALENT: Build strong and diverse talent bench, as well as high performance, accountability and inclusion that reflect MDLZ’s empowered growth culture.

• Coach leaders to manage their talent to optimize performance and the workforce, and build bench and capability, leveraging insights from analytics.

• Remove barriers and roadblocks that hinder talent development or engagement, to promote a culture of coaching and feedback.

• Equip and coach leaders on differentiated development and engagement strategies to maximize the performance of individuals and teams.

• Partner with individuals and people managers on career coaching and planning to develop a diverse pool of talent with the potential to fulfill

leadership positions.

• Coach line managers in identifying and assessing talent, in creating differentiated development actions and following through, and in facilitating

talent reviews and action plans.

• Promote diversity and inclusion as enablers of business outcomes.

Behaviors & Portfolio of

experiences:

• Extensive HR Business Partner experience (with Technical

functions preferred), maturity in assessing people and situations.

• Bachelor / MBA in Human Resources

• Broad generalist HR skills to manage and influence across a range of populations and seniority

• Experience of working in AMEA region

• Strategic thinking, Engage for impact, deliver reliably, adopt boldly.

• Knowledge of China labor laws framework
