Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Under the guidance of Director of Responsible Sourcing Operation (RSO) team to manage the implementation of LEGO Responsible Business Principles (RBP) in LEGO Jiaxing Site (JIA) and its suppliers

  • Ongoing compliance work includes scheduling and following up on audits for JIA and its suppliers, reviewing and assessing audit reports, following up Corrective Action Plan

  • Ongoing compliance work of the RSO team including engaging with LEGO owned sites, suppliers and licensing partners on RBP implementation, identifying root causes of non-compliances found at audit (or otherwise, such as through grievance mechanisms or data submitted to the LEGO Group) and encouraging continuous improvement

  • Implement the global RS strategic initiatives for JIA and its suppliers, e.g. capability building programme, including supporting the development and delivery of guidelines, training courses and tools with suppliers; grievance mechanisms; etc.

  • Support on third party audit firms management and support RSO Data Lead on data management

Do you have what it takes?

  • You have relevant experience (5+ years) in managing social compliance within retail or supply chains in China

  • You have experience in managing social compliance practice in a manufacturing environment

  • You will be confident in mapping and assessing social compliance risk and presenting this to key stakeholders, and driving corrective and prevention action plan

  • You have experience of training suppliers on social compliance requirements

  • You're experienced in reading and analysing social audits, with expertise across a range of audit types (SMETA, ICTI/IETP, SA8000, BSCI, RBA etc.)

  • You possess solid knowledge and deep interest in international human and labor rights and CSR standards

  • You are experienced in working within global teams, understanding the cultural diversity

  • You have high level of self-motivation, and have experience with distance management

  • You will be flexible to travel regularly within China and some other Asian Countries (e.g. South Korea), and with some long haul trips possible (e.g. Europe)

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, in related field of supply chain social compliance will be preferred
