Emerson Localization Engineer in Shanghai, China

Job Summary

You will act as a project leader for localization projects, work with multi-function team to launch Emerson products in China factory following standard project gate review process and requirement.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Act as a project leader for localization projects, work with multi-function team to launch Emerson products in China factory following standard project gate review process and requirement

  • Responsible for manufacturing process selection, layout design, lead production team to complete product pilot run and improve first pass yield

  • Responsible for new equipment introduction, production line set up. Develop and implement automation and IIOT solutions to continuously improve productivity

  • Develop process documentation, provide training to operators and line leaders on new processes, materials, and equipment

  • Continuously contribute to quality and productivity improvements with lean and six sigma tools, drive cost down and operation excellent

Who You Are:

You act with diplomacy and tact. You persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks. You engage key stakeholders early and consider the upside and downside scenarios.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in an Engineering discipline or a combination of related experience education is required

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing industry

  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill

  • Skilled in CAD and Pro-E software or equivalent applications
