The Role

Reporting to the HR Director, Diageo Greater China, the purpose of this role is to partner effectively with the business and function leaders in China in driving the performance potential and delivering the long term growth agenda.

Accountabilities

Talent & Capability

• Develop and deploy talent plans to future prove the business with right talent and capabilities

• Build reliable local succession pipelines that are diverse

• Implement global and local L&D programs to develop leadership and commercial capabilities

• Leverage Talent Engagement model and employer brand in talent acquisition

Organization & Culture

• Make organization decisions that drive commercial success and operation model efficiency

• Own headcount / overheads management and drive organization efficiency

• Instill a continues learning culture that fuels constant growth in capability and performance

• Drive Inclusive and Diversity agenda

HR Business Partnership

• Build trusted partnership with function leaders to deliver people solutions supporting overall business objectives

• Effectively utilize performance management and reward process to motivate and drive performance

• Be closely involved throughout the “employment cycle” to create fulfilling employee experience

• Lead the development and execution of employee engagement and wellbeing programs

HR Delivery

• Ensure service deliveries are carried out effectively, accurately and in compliance with local regulations and align with global principle

• Lead employment relations framework and governance

• Effectively utilize employee data and reports to generate insights to support people and organization decisions

• Keep updated with local trends to ensure people related policies and processes are aligned with best practices
