Amazon Global Selling is one of Amazon’s business units that helps businesses from anywhere in the world to launch a global business, reaching Amazon customers around the world and building international brands. Today, more than 50% of Amazon's total sales come from third-party Sellers. The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 19 overseas marketplaces, and supporting local Sellers’ success and growth on Amazon. Our vision is to be the first choice for all types of Chinese businesses to go global.

AGS Product Marketing is a central marketing function to drive awareness, consideration, and adoption of Amazon’s products/programs offered to our Selling Partners. We are now seeking an experienced, strategic Senior Product Marketing Head to lead the marketing efforts for the core Selling Partner programs. In this role, you will be identifying and driving improvements that enable Selling Partner growth, partnering with product and business teams (among others) to influence the global stakeholders and senior leadership. You will deliver a holistic approach on CN product marketing, from upper-funnel branding, demand generation, to lower-funnel conversion. You will establish what success looks like and drive the strategic roadmap of solutions leveraging data and anecdotal insights to identify top opportunities, inventing new solutions to challenging problems, influencing product decisions, and driving closure by connecting these product decisions to business outcomes.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional product marketing effort collaborating with product management, business teams, regional marketing, channel marketing and PR to deliver and execute plans against goals for awareness, product demand generation, and acquisition.

• Build effective collaboration mechanisms with cross-functional teams for synergy and process efficiency.

• Manage overall product marketing budget, results tracking and reporting.

• Develop framework to measure product marketing effectiveness and impact, and continuously optimize performance leveraging data and insights.

• Develop VoS mechanism to collect CN Selling Partner insights to influence product offerings.

• Hire and develop talents to build a high-performing team.

Basic Qualifications

  • 15+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • 7+ years of team management experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or relevant field of study. MBA is preferred.

  • A strategic thinker. Strong capability in developing GTM strategies, messaging framework, and creative campaigns.

  • Demonstrated success in project management; Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables.

  • Superior oral and written communication skills both in English and Chinese, with an innate attention to details;

  • Ability to use hard data and metrics from disparate data sources to measure marketing performance, determine improvements and innovations

  • Experience working directly with global teams.
