Danaher Corporation China Plant Finance Controller in Shanghai, China
Major Role and Responsibilities:
Business partner of China plant GM and management team to support growth in China for global operation, understand the business environment to lead creative planning and to prioritize at a strategic level.
Provide strategic input and insight to drive operations efficiency and savings.
Provide leadership and coaching for the plant finance department in an environment of open communication, trust, and confidence. Ensure that adequate skills and knowledge are applied.
Identify internal control weakness, drive and provide leadership for the implementation of change and innovation to support the achievement of cost reduction and improvement opportunities.
Lead the standard pricing management, standard cost annual roll, annual plant budgeting and rolling forecasting process, analysis and interpretation of operating statistics and accounting information in order to appraise operating results and performance against budget and forecasting.
Identify, analysis and drive cost savings, efficiency gains, PPV, VAVE realization.
Preparation of financial reports and presentation of findings and recommendations, including lead monthly financial reporting for plant legal entities.
Interfaces with DHR Internal Audit Group – responsible for planning and executing on internal audit reviews with each regional controller.
Ensurance of compliance in local and global related rules and laws
Ensure timely delivery of financial report, correct closing and solid finance data
