Danaher Corporation C&B & HR Operations Manager in Shanghai, China

Position Objectives:

This position requires a close collaboration with different HR Functions (HRBP, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management etc.) in delivering various HR services while meeting Labor Law, regulatory and SOX requirements for the responsible Opco(s), leading Opco C&B & HR Operations team to implement Life Sciences China Platform C&B and HR operations related policies and process including but not limited to C&B operations, associate lifecycle management, payroll management and HRIS to maintain internally consistency and compliance. This position also requires a business and customer centric thinking, an inclusion and diversity mindset and a continuous improvement way of working in providing C&B related insights, professionals and services for a sustainable business and people & organization support.

Key Responsibilities:

C&B Related

  • Work closely with C&B and HR Operations Leader of Life Sciences China to conduct analysis on internal and external compensation statistics. Provide recommendation on compensation structure and mix and develop effective programs.

  • Analyze and evaluate external market data as well as internal data about the organization’s current employee population and future human resource needs in order to develop salary budgets and forecasts that are consistent with the organization’s reward strategy. Maintain regular contacts with managers and ensure a comprehensive knowledge of current labor regulations, policy and procedure company.

  • Provide annual compensation calendar activities which may not limit to annual merit and sales incentive plans, salary survey, benchmark.

  • Highly engaged in regular organization effectiveness review, productivity analysis, annual workforce planning and budgeting, etc.

  • Customer oriented to close to the business with professional C&B insights provided and value-added C&B services delivery to support business strategy and growth.

  • Opco & Life Sciences China Platform Programs participation or leading to conduct strong organization & talent management support and continuously C&B & HR Operation services improvements

HR Operations Related

  • Lead and develop a team to further streamline the process and deliver HR operations services in terms of associates lifecycle management, SIP payout, payroll, bonus plan execution, equity plan execution, benefit plan execution, work permits, IIT management to target customers in an efficient and effective way according to Life Sciences Guideline.

  • Execute the culture of flawless execution and continuous improvement, equip the team with proper tools and skills to improve HR processes efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Ensure services delivery meet or exceed our customer expectations. Drive the changes that will improve the customer experience.

  • Provide HR Ops report and HR KPI report on regular basis, become a SME of HRIS/Workday and HR process workstream to drive process optimization and standardization within OpCos.

  • Manage and optimize the 3rd party service vendors to ensure adequate, effective and flawless support.

  • Drive data and process compliance to achieve no matter audit findings. Provide audit support and people cost calculation support as needed.

  • Coach HR Rep and ensure employees receives satisfactory support of HR Services. Deliver and management HR daily operations.

Position Qualification Requirement:

  • Bachelor degree in related major

  • 7+ years C&B/HR Operations experience, with 3 years managerial experience in multinational company

  • Proven record of project management experience

  • Strong data analytical competency

  • High work standards and strong sense in integrity and confidentiality

  • Detail & result oriented

  • Continuous improvement mindset

  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, customer oriented

  • Fluency in written and spoken English
