Philips Business Marketing Director, MR in Shanghai, China

Your role:

You will drive superior customer value by developing and executing the go to market approach for MR products, solutions, services in alignment with China market’s business and overall marketing strategy. You will work closely with business to ensure perfect and flawless new product introductions and launches. You will support Business Leader in the interactions with the Business. You will support and coach the modality sales and clinical teams and ensure marketing strategy and plans are aligned.

Your responsibility:

Marketing Plan and Execution

  • Develop MR business marketing plan for China market in alignment with global business strategy

  • Drive the business specific execution of MR business marketing plan, translate and align those with the BMC plans

  • Drive customer’s audience/persona-based approach and business specific execution of MR marketing plan

  • Support Business Leader in the BMC process (prioritized customer segments, products, services and solutions) – focusing on marketing enables and marketing metrics

  • Provide input for engagement strategy, content and campaign programs (reputation, demand generation (incl. for Install Base, Cross- and Upsell), loyalty and sales enablement) in collaborations with engagement strategy and ensure focus on end-of-life

NPI and Portfolio Management

  • Support the Business by providing market insights and trends, customer and competitor insights and trends, business model options, etc and review the value proposition and global plans/roadmaps in the product development phase

  • Localize value propositions and global roadmaps (for the Local Launch Brief)

  • Form the cross-functional team required to plan and execute a product launch (including identification of target customer/audience/personas) in line with the global strategy and the overall business and marketing strategy

  • Country target price setting and promotion pricing (without ownership of deal pricing)

  • Define goals for MR product solutions and services and managing performance and lifecycle management (phase-in and phase out management)

  • Drive customer satisfaction for audiences, including customer NPS

  • Provide guidance / consultancy for large-scale projects or solution deals

Marketing Enablers for Sales

  • Support adoption and localization of global assets and content for the sales teams, in close collaboration with Marketing operations, to have them matching with local Customer/Audience/ Personas

  • Define guidance on how to collect proof-point in accordance with the claim’s strategy

  • Identify and prioritize Key Opinion Leader for portfolios, driving KOL engagement (in collaboration with Clinical Scientist and in alignment with Marketing Operations & Planning)

  • Portfolio positioning strategy: understand the sales cycles along customer decision journey, evaluate the different sales strategies, and understand how to improve conversion rates by strengthening positioning of the portfolio

  • Lead your team in enabling sales teams with background knowledge, market insights, customer segment behavioral trends, competitive insights, instruments, and tools to help them in maximizing existing and potential business opportunities

Your team:

You will report to the Business Leader, MR. You will work closely with upstream marketing, central marketing, sales, clinical application, etc. You will lead a team of equipment marketing and service marketing. You will base in Shanghai or Beijing.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of healthcare industry experience

  • Strong experience in marketing technology, in healthcare or medtech products or solutions, clinical/professional marketing or sales, including creating customized value propositions to customers

  • MR/CT modality experience highly preferred

  • Complete knowledge and understanding of the marketing processes

  • Experience as an integrator to work in a business with complex market/channel structures, and professional channels required significant development

  • Adept at senior stakeholder management and able to work effectively in a matrix organization

  • Strong leadership in building a high performing and cohesive team

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills in Mandarin and English
