The Coca-Cola Company Associate Manager, Brand Management, Water Category in Shanghai, China

Overall Description:

As premium water associate brand manager, this role will be responsible for driving premium lines including Chun Yue Soda and Smart Water to deliver overall brands vision, business objectives & financial targets.

With challenger mindset and strong learning agility in marketing and innovation, the role is expected to deliver high-quality marketing experiences in a disruptive way to accelerate water category's premium transformation.

Key Result Areas:

Marketing Planning

  • Support line manager to develop portfolio strategy and brand marketing plan to drive brand's revenue, profit and share objectives, as well as to build brand equity

Performance Management

  • Monthly track business and brand performance of CY, ID and Smart Water, with conclusions on the result and analysis on the reasons/factors that lead to such results

  • Monitor competitors' activities, brand health and share performance. Summarize implications and actions for respective brand

Creative Content Development

  • Closely work with creative team to develop CCI and creative assets for CY soda and smart water

  • Closely work with agencies, FLM and bottlers to develop POSMs and merchandising toolkit and ensure flawless implementation

Connection Planning Development

  • Closely work with connection planning team and agencies to develop robust connection plan to bring creative idea to life

  • Monitor competitive media spending and make analysis and recommendation on respective brand media investment

New Products and Package Development

  • Lead commercialization process for new product/packaging launch by closely working with cross functions and advertising agencies

  • Work with human insights team and research agencies  to execute research projects and utilize the key findings to identify winning product mix

  • Monitor new product launch in market result and develop fact-based analysis and action plan

DME Control

  • Check and monitor DME spending on each related project. Monitor total water category DME spending to make sure that all planned projects are delivered within the budget
