As an Account Director, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a sales strategy that will assist in hitting growth targets by growing our new and current customer base. You will do this by providing digital marketing strategy to our clients to help them reach their business and marketing objectives.

This role focuses specifically on accelerating growth amongst hi-potential clients within China market for their export business. The candidate we are looking for is a senior individual contributor who is client centric, a solutions driven self-starter excited by the challenge of partnering customers early in their LinkedIn Marketing Solutions journey.

*Responsibilities: *

  • Secure media budgets by building trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders in customer business and media agencies via phone, tailored emails, events, social selling etc.

  • Develop a sound understanding of your client's business challenges, competitive environment and needs; understand client's success metrics and develop campaign strategies to execute on LinkedIn platform

  • Build relevant sales narratives that encompass holistic aspects of digital marketing, content marketing, branding and lead generation that help clients achieve their marketing objectives

  • Develop and execute solid sales plans, provide accurate forecasts, take ownership of managing pipeline, balance assigned book of leads with self-prospects to balance upside / downside risk

  • Maintain productive relationships across business including holding regular meetings, aligning on account priorities and using common documentation to monitor progress

  • Achieve operational excellence including CRM hygiene, customer engagement and systems proficiency

  • Work closely with Leadership team on projects that contribute to overall market strategy for improving account management and customer sophistication process

  • Evangelise LinkedIn through attendance and speaking engagements at customer events

*Basic Qualifications: *

  • 8+ years of experience in advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, or media

  • 4+ years B2B digital media sales experience acquiring new clients

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results through close collaboration with C-level and senior customers, building multithreaded relationships across customer organisation

  • Experience managing and prioritising large portfolio of customer advertising budgets and campaigns. 

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and win deals via consultative selling

  • Data driven storyteller - leveraging data insights to engage and convince client action and investment

  • Strong understanding / experience of China media agency landscape a plus

  • CRM and Engagement Tools (SFDC, Salesloft, Gong) experience a plus

  • Understanding of internet advertising technology and marketing automation.
