Victory House Clinical Supervisor in Shamokin, Pennsylvania

The Clinical Supervisor oversees the clinical department at Victory House. The main goal is to provide effective leadership to the clinical staff and ensure clinical services are being followed according to regulations. Victory House is a 30 bed inpatient hallway house for adult men with substance use disorder. Victory House aims to empower individuals to continue their recovery journey after rehab in a safe, secure, and supportive environment.

Job Description

  • Responsible for working with clinical staff members and managing the day to day clinical program, scheduling and activities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, develop, and maintain and audit charts and records for person(s) receiving services.
  • Facilitate group and individual counseling
  • Facilitate weekly clinical meetings to discuss client cases and treatment/discharge planning
  • Perform orientation/training for all new clinical staff hired.
  • Participate and engage in all clinical meetings
  • Work closely with all staff members to ensure that all documentation in EMR is accurate and completed timely
  • Contributes to the implementation of the agency's policies and procedures and works with the Director for the setting and attainment of the clinical program's goals and objectives
  • Responsible for building and maintaining a unified, high performing interdisciplinary team
  • Responsible for scheduling staff, approving and monitoring staff training, absences and ensuring adequate program coverage
  • Manages the training program for clinical staff to ensure that all services are being provided as required
  • Interpreting and implementing policies and procedures regarding approval and non-approval of new admissions and readmissions
  • Assist and make recommendations to the Director regarding program design, development, and implementation
  • Report to Director any unusual incidents or behaviors that could indicate other problems
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications:

Experience: Supervisory role and experience working in a substance abuse field

Education: Bachelor's degree from accredited college in social work, psychology, counseling or related field as required by DDAP

Certification: Must complete or possess DDAP Clinical Supervision Training
