Mattress Firm Store Manager in Shakopee, Minnesota

Location: This job in Shakopee and Blaine Station locations within the state Drive individual and store team s performance, through the achievement of KPI s, to reach targeted goals Manage, train and coach store employees in sales, product knowledge and operating activities, providing constructive feedback, annual performance reviews and Individual Development Plans Create staff schedule to drive store goals and store profitability Maintain customer relationships during and post-purchase Create an environment where customers are always at the center and have an exceptional experience Conduct workforce management activities Ensure store execution of product merchandising, marketing and POP standards Ensure company policies, including appearance and functionality standards, and state regulations are followed Ensure timely open and closing procedures Manage stock inventory levels for assigned store Provide technical and product knowledge information to associates and customers, serve as subject matter expert Assist in processing inventory counts Follow all Company procedures on cash handling including acceptance of payment and deposit processes Adhere to all sales processing policies to ensure the proper creation and execution of customer invoicing Assist customers with load outs and in store purchases Professional communication and representation of Company brand in all internal and external interaction Non-Essential Responsibilities Ability to push, pull or lift 50 pounds Ability to stand or sit for 8+ periods of time Execute company initiatives and any other activities requested by supervisor Ability to plan strategically Maintain awareness of competition, advertisements and services offered, develop strategies to counter
