Salary \$89,764.00 - \$126,726.00 Annually Location Shakopee, MN Job Type Full Time Division Office of Management & Budget Job Number 2022-00114 Department Information Technology Job Summary The eligible register developed from this posting may be used to fill future FT and PT vacancies within this classification. Performs and conducts the most difficult and complex technical analysis, support, and integrations for the County\'s interconnected applications and platforms. Provides subject matter expertise on the technologies purchased as a service and/or deployed on premise in support of County business. Key role for support for service interruptions and persistent problems. Manages and coordinates work done by service providers on behalf of the County. Essential Duties Architects integration of systems and/or applications using various languages, technical tools, and/or methods. Configures and/or makes recommendations for systems and system security. Identifies opportunities for automation across systems. Implements technology solutions for system architectures, new initiatives, and business process improvements. Participates in testing and trial runs of new and revised systems; identifies and uses appropriate debugging techniques. Provides customer service and technical support to internal customers and manages vendor engagements as needed. Monitors and conducts analysis, anticipates performance problems and/or errors, identifies root causes, and plans, initiates, and expedites problem resolutions to meet system availability requirements. Performs and/or manages upgrades, patches, fixes, and alerts for applications, platforms, and/or program products. Performs user provisioning/deprovisioning processes. Monitors batch processes and provides data extraction. Authors data modeling, functional process maps, and technical documentation. Follows PMO established processes and prepares time/resource estimates for upcoming project work. Works the days and hours necessary to perform all assigned responsibilities and tasks. Must be available (especially during regular business hours or shifts) to communicate with subordinates, supervisors, customers, vendors, and any other person or organization with whom interaction is required to accomplish work and employer goals. Performs other related duties as required or assigned. Maintains knowledge in the following areas: Solutions design, assessment, and validation. System development and integration methodologies and technologies. Software Development Life Cycle (Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Documentation, Implementation, and Support) and ITIL standards. Internet/Intranet application and web service development. SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS) and SQL Server Report Service (SSRS). Technologies used: PowerShell - O365 PowerShell modules, AD modules, and others ServiceNow - integration, administration, configuration and customization SQL Server - SSIS, SSRS Office 365 - administration, configuration, security, and compliance for Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Power Platform Active Directory GroupID Web Services Web Technologies - HTML, C#, CSS, XML, JSON, Python, VB.net Minimum Qualifications Requires equivalency of a bachelor\'s degree in computer sciences or a related field and five years advanced level IT experience. Experience in a medium to large service industry organization is essential. Incumbent must have a reliable means of transportation for the performance of work responsibilities. A resume is required.
