Our Operations family is seeking an additional member to strengthen our operational efforts across customer service, transport, production and administration that brings together our mission to make healthcare safer! This role would perform, lead and delegate the following responsibilities to ensure plant performance targets are achieved with an engaged and high performing team. • Creates and ensures all driver manifest for customer route and transport folder with all relevant certificates, regulatory documents, customer information included are accurate and completed on time. • Performs updates on required data changes with manifest post-delivery with updates on quantities delivered and/or not picked up as well as mileage used daily. • Ensures completion of all regulatory and customer processes are completed on time. • Confirms and analysis data validity through normal review or spot audits regarding weight/scale tickets manually to ensure proper billing accuracy. • Daily review of transportation information (vendors, GPS reports on stops, times, miles, and non-compliance issues) with Plant Manager and leadership team to take action to create operational efficiencies to improve service or reduce costs. • Perform all necessary support functions with staff to include accurate payroll and timekeeping, vacation approvals, new hire paperwork, regulatory compliance paperwork, and assist in the coordination of applicable training programs • Assist in maintaining a \"team\" relationship between Operations and other departments • High quality customer service • 100% first point of customer contact for scheduling picks ups, customer issues, problems or complaints • Translate customer changes with production (physical communication on production floor) • Coordinate appropriate customer delivery as per customers details in route optics and the driver routes for the day/week • Adhoc reporting on efficiencies as per Leaderships needs and your own discretion • Process improvement initiatives to better the team and the overall company Requirements: • Do you have 5 years in an administrative and customer service environment with proven change management experience and the initiative to lead a small support team? • Have you worked within an operational environment like Daniels?
