This process includes activities for new, and renewal of existing consumer loans, while providing superior service. Responsible for understanding core system and booking of consumer loans. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for understanding Consumer loan products and documentation which can include receipt of loan application through the steps leading up to final preparation of closing loan documents, and boarding on core system. Understand systems and related functionality used to perform essential tasks, i.e., Origenate, Laserpro, Jack Henry. Work closely with Bankers, Underwriting, and other internal departments while ensuring regulatory and bank compliance. Order and review necessary research items, as required, to ensure adherence to regulatory and bank compliance, i.e., flood determinations, title search, valuations, etc. Analyzes, investigates, and coordinates collateral verifications through VIN searches, title commitments, appraisals. Initiates/creates/ensures lien perfection based on type of collateral, law, regulations, and geographical location. Accurate processing of loan documents while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations (RESPA, REG Z, TRID, HOEPA, HPML, FLOOD, FACTA, REG B, HMDA, Fair Credit, MLA, etc.) Interact with internal customers, external centers of influence, and other support areas of the Bank via telephone, email, Synapsys events and in person to provide superior service. Understanding of core system process in order to manually board loans. Review loan approvals, closing document requests for accuracy and conformance to Bank policy and procedures. Perform verification of closed loan file to ensure all closing documents are properly executed and collected from all parties associated with the closing transaction prior to disbursing loan proceeds. Handle routine inquires and client service issue promptly. Continual mindfulness of process improvement opportunities. Perform other duties and assist with special projects for the bank as assigned. Experience and Education 1-2 years of bank and/or office experience preferred LaserPro and Jack Henry experience preferred High School Diploma or its equivalent is required Post-secondary education preferred. Sk lls & Abilities Needed: Ability to multi-task and be flexible. Basic mastery and commitment to the continuous development of personal performance around the job-specific and competencies necessary for this role. The ability to effectively work both independently as a contributor and collaboratively in a team is required. Excellent communication (oral and written); the ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner. Basic computer skills with the ability to learn the core banking system and maintain working knowledge of MS Office. Strong attention to detail and highly organized while focusing on work quality. Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines. Knowledge of bank products and services. Knowledge of bank organizational structure, policies, and operating procedures. Desire to provide excellent client service with a consultative approach. Strong ability to maintain confidentiality. The expected starting range for this role is $18.00-$26.00 per hour. Compensation decisions will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and education, which may determine where within the range the starting pay will fall.
