What you’ll do:

This position is responsible for managing SCM process of Eaton-SIAEC JV in Malaysia, including supplier development, procurement, material management and logistics to meet the plant working capital cost measurement and delivery goals.

Develop the JV purchasing policy and ensure it complied with the JV board’s direction

Align with the JV launch requirement to execute the capital investment as per the plan

Build the JV supplier management system and establish the JV initial supplier base as per the business requirements

Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, lead times or cost; Develop alternatives where necessary.

Integrate and organize forecasting, planning and procurement teams within the JV and support the network to achieve the target of Inventory $ and DOH, OTTR, past dues, OTTP, Productivities, and capacity planning accuracy.

Lead all logistics activities including import and export to meet production and customer delivery requirements.

Accountable to return profits from identification and reporting of slow moving, superseded or obsolete inventory.

Own and drive supply chain standard work and key initiatives and projects assigned across the JV.

Recommend solutions and implement improvements to systems and procedures through ongoing review and analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required, major in Business, Supply Chain Management, International Trade or related field is preferred

• 8 - 10 years of experience with demonstrated success in a number of roles across the areas of capital spending, import & export or logistics management, demand management, supply management, manufacturing planning, supply chain planning and execution including at least 3 years of management experience

Skills:

• Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems such as Oracle is highly regarded

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel

• Excellent negotiation, presentation, verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing complex process

• Must have the ability to lead others in a matrix environment communicating expectations and requirements internally and externally
