Catalyst Marine Welder in Seward, Alaska
This is a full-time on-site role for a Welder at Catalyst Marine Engineering located in Seward, AK. The Welder will be responsible for performing various welding and fabrication tasks in accordance with safety guidelines and industry standards. The Welder will work on a team to complete projects and ensure the proper maintenance and repair of marine equipment. WELD TEST REQUIRED Qualifications Proven experience as a Welder or similar role Proficiency in various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and Arc welding Knowledge of different types of metals Ability to interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to use welding equipment and tools safely Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina Communication and teamwork skills Certification in welding or relevant vocational training is a plus Must possess a valid driver's license to conduct company business Must be willing to work overtime when required
