As a Systems Engineer at Westfield, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our distributed systems infrastructure and related technologies. Your responsibilities will encompass the design, deployment, and management of Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory (AD) domain services, virtualization technologies (VMware), containerization (OpenShift), storage systems (block and unstructured data), enterprise backup solutions (Commvault), Zerto replication, DNS, DHCP, and cloud services (Azure and AWS). Additionally, you will be responsible for x86 server hardware maintenance, PowerShell scripting for automation, infrastructure monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring security and compliance measures are met. Foundational skills in Windows/Linux, DevOps practices including shell scripting and automation are a must. The ideal candidate is a skilled problem solver, has a zeal for learning and applying new technologies quickly and enjoys being part of a loyal and committed team that shares and celebrates joint success. 2-6 years of relevant experience.
