Your day at NTT DATA

The DevOps Engineer consults with internal clients about the software technology environment with medium to high complexity. They translate business requirements into technology terms and develop more complex algorithms and programming code for software solutions. The primary objective of the DevOps Engineer is to design, test, implement and maintain software code that enables computer systems to perform specific tasks. They assist with determining how technology can be applied to meet client needs.

The individual in this role will participate in the planning, design, build, test, and implementation of the assigned enterprise applications and/or systems. They will be required to perform most of the tasks defined in the planned agile epic workload or the project, gathering facts, analysing client requirements, and then designing, building, and supporting solutions that demonstrate the functionality to support the findings.

What you'll be doing

Responsabilidades:

• Dirigir y supervisar un equipo de ingenieros DevOps y de desarrollo.

• Orientación y liderazgo.

• Colaborar con los equipos de desarrollo, operaciones y seguridad para garantizar la entrega continua y segura de software.

• Definir y mantener las mejores prácticas de DevOps y procesos de automatización.

• Liderar proyectos de automatización complejos relacionados con la sostenibilidad.

• Administrar y optimizar las herramientas y plataformas de DevOps.

• Garantizar la seguridad y la conformidad en todas las etapas del ciclo de vida de desarrollo.

• Resolver proactivamente problemas y desafíos técnicos.

• Gestionar presupuestos y recursos para proyectos de infraestructura.

Requisitos:

• Experiencia demostrada en un rol de liderazgo en Python.

• Amplio conocimiento de tecnologías y herramientas de DevOps, como Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, git etc.

• Habilidad para liderar, motivar y desarrollar equipos de alto rendimiento.

• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y capacidad para colaborar eficazmente con diferentes departamentos.

• Certificaciones relevantes en Python y seguridad informática son una ventaja.

• Deseable conocimiento de infraestructuras de IT de networking.
