::: {dir="auto"} Jamestown Healing Clinic (JHC) is seeking a part-time dental hygienist to join our team and provide essential oral healthcare services to our patients, with a focus on those affected by substance use disorders. This part-time position requires working one Thursday per month, with the potential to increase to two Thursdays per month within six months. :::
::: {dir="auto"} In this role, you will: :::
::: {dir="auto"} Deliver personalized dental hygiene services, including comprehensive examinations, cleanings, screenings, and X-rays. :::
::: {dir="auto"} Educate and empower patients on proper oral hygiene practices through clear instruction, demonstrations, and educational materials. :::
::: {dir="auto"} Foster a safe and healing environment by creating a welcoming and understanding atmosphere that utilizes trauma-informed care principles. :::
::: {dir="auto"} Advocate for harm reduction by educating patients on the connection between substance use and oral health, while offering strategies to mitigate potential risks. :::
::: {dir="auto"} Collaborate with the JHC team to ensure patients receive comprehensive care by connecting them with additional resources as needed. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Is a licensed Dental Hygienist in Washington State. :::
::: {dir="auto"} Has a strong commitment to compassionate and empathetic care. :::
::: {dir="auto"} Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse patients. :::
::: {dir="auto"} Enjoys collaboration and working in a team-oriented environment. :::
::: {dir="auto"} Has a strong understanding of dental anatomy, physiology, and preventive dentistry principles. :::
::: {dir="auto"} Demonstrates dexterity and skill in performing dental hygiene procedures. :::
::: {dir="auto"} Thrives in a fast-paced environment and manages time effectively. :::
::: {dir="auto"} Maintains a high level of professionalism and adheres to JHC and HIPAA confidentiality protocols. :::
