Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe Certified Medical Assistant in Sequim, Washington
The Jamestown Family Health Clinic is seeking a skilled and organized Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team! Here, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients, working alongside a supportive team.
In this role, you'll:
- Assist healthcare providers with various patient care tasks
- Triage and room patients efficiently
- Take vital signs, document patient histories, and prepare exam rooms
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Process lab/radiology orders, referrals, and prescriptions
- Coordinate follow-up care for patients
- Perform clinical procedures under supervision (EKG, ear lavage, etc.)
- Give IM, Sub-Q, and nasal medications and immunizations as ordered
- Collaborate on improving clinic policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

To be considered, you must have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of 1-2 years (4-6 quarters) of an accredited Medical Assistant Program required, CAAHEP or ABHES accredited medical assisting program or LPN program preferred. Basic First Aid/CPR from the American Heart Association
- Maintain current Washington State Health Care Assistant certification of MA-C.
- Strong medical knowledge including medication administration and billing processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
