Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe Certified Medical Assistant in Sequim, Washington

The Jamestown Family Health Clinic is seeking a skilled and organized Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team! Here, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients, working alongside a supportive team.

In this role, you'll:

  • Assist healthcare providers with various patient care tasks
  • Triage and room patients efficiently
  • Take vital signs, document patient histories, and prepare exam rooms
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records
  • Process lab/radiology orders, referrals, and prescriptions
  • Coordinate follow-up care for patients
  • Perform clinical procedures under supervision (EKG, ear lavage, etc.)
  • Give IM, Sub-Q, and nasal medications and immunizations as ordered
  • Collaborate on improving clinic policies
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

To be considered, you must have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of 1-2 years (4-6 quarters) of an accredited Medical Assistant Program required, CAAHEP or ABHES accredited medical assisting program or LPN program preferred. Basic First Aid/CPR from the American Heart Association
  • Maintain current Washington State Health Care Assistant certification of MA-C.
  • Strong medical knowledge including medication administration and billing processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a background check
