The AWS Infrastructure Capacity Delivery team is searching for a passionate and talented Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to support projects growing our Data Center infrastructure. The TIPM will lead cross-functional and technical teams to deliver Data Center capacity and deliver projects from strategy, conceptual design feasibility, requirements, budget, completed design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

At AWS, along with technical knowledge, we expect our leaders to interact with customers, partners and suppliers to understand our business goals and priorities, and to execute rapidly, delivering high-quality results. The candidate will be comfortable in managing remote project delivery teams, and possess the ability to facilitate technical sessions to troubleshoot issues and remove barriers to project success. The TIPM will be able to build cross-functional matrix-based teams, establish trust with a variety of stakeholders across multiple time zones, manage capital budgets, eliminate unnecessary activity, design solutions, remove blockers, and find creative ways to accelerate project delivery.

AWS Infra Capacity Delivery 팀은 데이터 센터 인프라를 확장하는 프로젝트를 지원할 열정적이고 재능 있는 기술 인프라 프로그램 매니저 (TIPM) 를 채용하고 있습니다. TIPM은 부서 및 기술 팀을 이끌고 전략, 개념 설계 실현 가능성, 요구 사항, 예산, 완료된 설계, 구현, 테스트 및 배포에 이르기까지 데이터 센터 캐파시티를 제공하는 프로젝트를 수행합니다.

AWS에서는 리더가 기술 지식과 함께 고객, 파트너 및 공급업체와 상호 작용하여 비즈니스 목표와 우선 순위를 이해하고 신속하게 실행하여 고품질 결과를 제공하기를 기대합니다. 지원자는 원격 프로젝트팀을 관리하고 기술 세션을 진행하여 문제를 해결하고, 프로젝트 성공을 위한 장애을 제거할 수 있어야 합니다. TIPM은 다기능 매트릭스 기반 팀을 구성하고, 여러 시간대에 걸쳐 다양한 이해 관계자와 신뢰를 구축하고, 자본 예산을 관리하고, 불필요한 활동을 제거하고, 솔루션을 설계하고, 방해 요소를 제거하고, 프로젝트 납품을 가속화할 창의적인 방법을 찾게 됩니다.

Key job responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator (both written and verbal), and possess at least 5+ years of experience in project management of technical initiatives.

Strong judgement, negotiation skills, the ability to influence without authority, analytical talent, and leadership are characteristics of a successful TIPM. They will also have the capacity to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. In addition to those with Data Center infrastructure delivery experience, candidates possessing a proven success in delivery in architecture/design, mechanical/electrical engineering, software/network engineering, or IT/telecom infrastructure deployments, will have a distinct advantage.

The TIPM will be familiar with a variety of project management tools, methodologies, and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle. They'll be able to exhibit demonstrated experience in core project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting, and metric development/tracking. Other requirements include experience with MS Office, MS Project, and MS SharePoint.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree AND 5 years of project management experience OR 7 years of project management experience (experience can be substituted for degree)

• Experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk

• Must be well organized and able to work effectively under time pressure

• Proven ability to effectively manage project budgets is essential

• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentation skills

• Good communication skill (in Korean and English)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or advanced professional degree

• One or more of the following certifications: Agile, SCRUM, PRINCE2, PMP

• Experience in management of complex technology infrastructure projects

• Experience with and deep understanding of multiple project management methodologies

• Familiarity with the AWS product suite

• Knowledge of the Korean Data Center market

• Experience of managing projects in the APAC region

• Data Centre construction experience

• Data Centre Infrastructure (Power & Cooling) experience
