Boehringer Ingelheim Swine Product Manager in Seoul, South Korea

The Position

  • The main purpose of the role is to provide marketing strategies, execute planned activities, collaborate with cross functional team and maximize business performance in order to enable swine business growth

  • Develop specific marketing plans for products or species

  • Conduct and analyze market research, market condition and competitor information to determine market requirements for in-line and new products

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the marketing work management for responsible products

  • Establish marketing objectives, strategies and tactics with regards to sales, expenses, profit, inventory management, etc.

  • Analyze data and make strategic recommendations. Provide marketing insight and direction to optimize new product launches

  • Recommend pricing strategies, and monitor budget and expenditures. Ensure product placement and development corresponds to market needs

  • Represent marketing group on cross-functional team interfacing with product development, production and manufacturing to develop new products or enhance existing product or product lines

  • Closely contact and cooperate with ROPU and global teams as well as other departments of BIAHK in order to implement corporate goals locally and to create synergy

Requirements

  • Bachelor (and preferably Masters) of Commerce, Business, Marketing, Accounting, Veterinary Science or related disciplines (Veterinarian is preferred)

  • 2+ years of experience in Marketing and Animal Health is preferred

  • English communication skills in verbal & written

  • Data analysis, interpretation and presentation skills

  • Good interpersonal ability

  • Proficient in computer software programs (MS office, Excel and Power point, etc.)
