WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This role will be based in Seoul, Korea and will be a member of the Asia Pacific People Solutions team reporting to the Director, People Solutions Consulting AP in Korea. The candidate will partner with our Nike Korea HR team and other business team to provide support delivering our strategy of our Next% strategy.

As a Senior People Solutions Consultant, the candidate is a team player with the ability to maintain collaborative working relationships to work in dynamic and fast paced environment and be a positive influence. The candidate possesses strong communication skills, able to actively listen and seek information with high levels of HR generalist expertise, business acumen and consultation across all levels of the organization. The role will not only manage the highly complex and high-volume day-to-day operations and coaching of the human resource office of Nike but also support and/or lead local and global HR projects and programs. The candidate is also expected to have a proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and partner with various stakeholders to deliver solutions that are aligned to strategy, support business objectives, and meet all legal requirements. Senior Consultants. As a Senior People Solutions Consultant, the position holder will partner and co-lead with Leads & Managers to drive HR initiatives that demonstrate the overall success and growth of Nike, while fostering a positive and productive work culture

• At least 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in Human Resources or Human Resources Shared Services environment; in a multinational or outsourcing or shared service environment is preferred, with bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree

• Proficient in English and Native level Korean in both spoken and writing communication.

• Resourceful and self-driven with a strong sense of commitment and urgency to meet set goals and objectives. Analytical, meticulous, and able to perform independently

• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and working knowledge of HR Information System (e.g. SAP, WorkDay) or ticket management system (e.g. ServiceNow) would be an advantage

• Growth mindset flexible and able to excel within ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while simplifying and bringing clarity to make things happen with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

On any given day, you will be flexible to perform onsite HR transactional, operational as well as advisory/coaching tasks. As a Senior People Solution Consultant, your core responsibilities include:

• Resolve inquiries and transactions with quality and speed by identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact through a teammate-centric approach.

• Manage complex cases, when necessary engaging and co-leading squads with COE & BHR (Business HR) partners in building solution and provide high level guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure the team's effectiveness and success.

• Deliver integrated People Solutions across the Nike business at-scale and run offense on complex support needs. This includes guiding the business through complex matters, consulting, and alignment against policies, consultive support through HR cycles (e.g., Annual Pay Review, midyear stock-awards, yearend feedback) and delivery of unique local programs as needed.

• Provide support and analysis of HR Specialized Services, resolving mid to high level and moderately complex transactions across all levels of the organization. Through innovative solutioning, consult on and resolve escalations and challenges.

• Project Management: Contributing significantly to consulting projects from inception to completion. This involves partnering to define project scopes, setting objectives, managing timelines and resources, and ensuring deliverables meet client expectations.

• Assist on all employee life-cycle (preboarding, onboarding, exit) as well as coaching, advising and performance management related activities to ensure they are carried out in accordance with Nike global process and local statutory requirements.
