Are you interested in working with the largest AWS Partner Network (APN) organizations across Asia Pacific as they navigate through some of the most dynamic and disruptive transformation projects in their Enterprise customer organizations' histories? Does the prospect of empowering these Partners to achieve their customer organizations cloud transformation success by aligning professional services to critical business and IT outcomes, overseeing and assessing engagement delivery, driving a holistic partner strategy and providing insight to accelerate rate of execution/adoption of cloud technology excite you?

The AWS Global Services team is looking for a ProServe Partner Leader (PPL) in Korea. This PPL that will work with our AWS ProServe partners in Digital Transformation area to rapidly build relationships with large organizations, develop and execute that strategy within those accounts in Korea. The role includes all aspects of business and digital transformation consulting, program & relationship development, contract structuring, and delivery oversight.

This PPL works programmatically with our customers, our account teams, and our executive teams within AWS, to scale through AWS ProServe Partners for Digital Transformation. AWS ProServe collaborates across the entire AWS and Amazon organization, accessing product and service teams, get solutions delivered, and drive feature innovation based upon our customer’s needs. AWS has a rich partner ecosystem that includes Global, National and Local System Integrators with deep domain expertise of Digital Transformation.

AWS ProServe engages in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base with our APN partners, and are obsessed about teaming with APN partners for strong success for the customer. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs.

Key job responsibilities

  • Developing ProServe Korea partner strategy and growing ProServe Korea business by building deep scalable partnerships that directly impact our customer’s ability to innovate and transform

  • Collaborating with ProServe Korea Sales and Delivery team in managing strategic partner initiatives

  • Engaging in our largest and most transformative deals, and put those partnerships to work for our customers

  • Navigating the diverse customers in Korea by building partner relationships that matter locally and yet scale

  • Building strategies and value propositions that accelerate business outcomes for customers and partners alike

  • Building sustainable commercial partnerships, and manage the supporting contractual relationships with customers and partners.

  • Developing robust joint business opportunities pipeline with most focused group of AWS ProServe partners for Digital Transformation.

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including the public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

The Professional Services team at AWS is responsible for assisting enterprise customers as they shift to the cloud by incorporating our services into their overall architecture. We work hand-in-hand with customer teams and AWS partners to provide deep expertise in the architecture, design, development, and implementation of cloud computing initiatives that result in real business outcomes. Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience developing, leading, negotiating and executing corporate and/or business transactions

  • Experience with technology transformation initiatives

  • Experience working with Korean enterprises (including conglomerates, IT service providers, or equivalent )

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders

  • Bilingual in Korean (native) and English (professional proficiency in verbal and written communication)
