Red Hat Partner Sales Account Manager in Seoul, South Korea

Job Summary:

The Red Hat Partner Ecosystem team in Korea is looking for a Partner Sales Account Manager to join us in Seoul, South Korea. In this role, you will lead Red Hat's sales activities with more strategic and high-growth key business partners, such as premier and advanced partners. You will be responsible for discovering, nurturing, progressing, and closing new sales opportunities for our entire portfolio of offerings in a designated territory through various go-to-market (GTM) strategies. As a Partner Account Sales Manager, you will work closely with key business partners. You need to be able to work as a team not only with Red Hat but also with partners, and understand the challenges their customers face.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sell Red Hat offerings

  • Develop co-creation business model with the assigned partners

  • Lead the coverage to assigned partners and identify potential opportunities

  • Create and lead partner account plans and accelerate Red Hat’s multi-offering strategies

  • Manage the sales pipeline, including renewals and new business

  • Provide technical and administrative information, demonstrations, and quotes on appropriate customer prices for our offerings

  • Manage forecasts, help partners close deals, and track customer opportunities using company standard customer relationship management (CRM) tools

  • Grow existing partner relationships and promote sales programs developed for and with the key partners

  • Participate in internal sales training and certification programs to maintain a high knowledge of and proficiency in Red Hat’s offerings and industry trends

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience carrying and meeting a sales quota

  • Insight into what the partner business model is and how to lead them with good partner business play and proper strategy developed

  • Ability to orchestrate both internal and external parties

  • Ability to present Red Hat’s strategy to partner and customers and to understand their challenges

  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high attention to detail

  • Good organizational skills; ability to learn things quickly and adapt to changing situations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to translate complex ideas into simple, understandable terms

  • Experience selling highly technical solutions; knowledge of the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing

  • Experience successfully managing a sales pipeline and forecast
