About the Role The main roles of the open position are local Korean regulatory reporting and communications with regulators and tax authorities in Korea (FSS, BOK and NTS and etc.). Key Responsibilities * Group/local basic month-end closing of financial institutions (Banking/Broker in Korea) * Regulatory capital calculation and reporting to regulators (BIS ratio for banks, Net Capital Ratio for brokers in Korea) * Regulatory report production and submission them to regulators (FSS/BOK/NTS and etc.) * Preparation for Deloitte's quarterly reviews and yearly audit, preparation for Corp tax filing and support VAT/Education tax filing * Production of Morgan Stanley Group financial, regulatory capital and tax reporting
_Qualifications, Skills & Requirements _ __
- At least 4 years up to 10 years work experiences including financial industry in Korea (as local controllers including as external advisors of accounting/tax) is required.
- Native Korean or fluent Korean speaking foreigner is required since the position has to deal with the regulators' frequent demands.
- AICPA or KICPA license is strongly preferred, but not mandatory (CPAs from Deloitte or E&Y may not be eligible for the open position since they are the MS group auditors).
