Job Description : Field Application Engineer, Tektronix Korea

Location : Seoul, Korea

Our Field Applications Engineer is responsible for performing duties to provide technical support to Tektronix personnel and customers. The engineer provides customer and sales force assistance by answering questions and resolving technical issues regarding products, solutions and applications.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

• To provide SMU(source measure unit) ,DMM , DC power supply, System for mass production products support, customer training and debugging experience about Keithly product.

• To assist in providing SW technical support like C, C++, Linux language to control equipment

for SMU(source measure unit) ,DMM , DC power supply, System for mass production products support

• To leverage unique strengths, features and addressing points of SMU ,DMM , DC power supply, mass

production System products support

• To provide technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, customer/dealer training

and solution of application problems.

• To provide SI company support for delivering of technical knowledge for SMU,DMM,DC power supply

for system integration.

• To provide pre-sales support of company products and systems by resolving and coordinating the

resolution of product problems and issues (Problem documentation, notification and escalation)

• To keep the position of company as the best solution supplier in SMU(source measure unit) ,DMM ,

DC power supply, System for mass production products related market like Display ,Battery , MLCC

Semiconductor area.

• To help customers understand and enhance products operations and applications

• To contribute to develop new value-added applications on Test & Measurement

• To fully understand customers` Needs & Requirements on Test & Measurement

• To relay the status of the customers' technical issues to Product Line and Marketing

Job Requirements

• At least B.S. in Electronics ,Electrical ,Software Engineering or related major preferred.

• Have at least 5 years of hands-on experience working in a large company and proven track record on Software , HW design, debugging and testing for DC level testing with SMU, DMM , DC power supply and system for mass production.

• Knowledge of C, C++, Linux language to control equipment for SMU(source measure unit) ,DMM , DC power supply, System for mass production products support

• Experience for measuring, testing of DUT and Equipment related with Semiconductor, Display ,Battery ,

MLCC area.

• To have knowledge of products and services on Test & Measurement preferred

• Ability to deal with concurrent problems and issues effectively -Must be customer oriented and highly cognizant of the importance of customer support

• To work effectively with cross-functional teams and must be flexible enough to deal with different technical skill levels, skill sets and a highly dynamic work environment and schedules

• Be an achiever with strong self-motivation and interpersonal skills

• Strong Logical Thinking

• Good written and verbal English communication skills

• Drive license for customer visiting
