Oracle Exadata X-Team Engineer in Seoul, South Korea

Job Description

The X team is looking for a highly skilled database and system expert that can work with customers from initial deployment to full production. The candidate should be highly skilled with Oracle RAC, ASM, Oracle database and system troubleshooting with good customer and team communication skills. This position is looking for highly motivated and independent Oracle skilled engineers that are able to evaluate problems, analyze and provide solutions over a breadth of issues. They will have access X | MAA best practices and be working with cutting edge technology using the Oracle Exadata Database Machine, Oracle Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA), Exadata Storage Server, Oracle RAC, ASM, EHCC, MAA technologies and providing solutions around backup & recovery, migration, application scalability for DW and OLTP applications. The X-Team assists in the development of best practices for deployment and management of Exadata. The goal of this team is extract exadata, database machine, imdb, ZDLRA reference activities for Oracle in exchange for X-team services. The X-team works with all Exadata customer whether they choose on premise, Oracle Public Cloud or Oracle Cloud@Customer including the latest offering Autonomous Database Cloud@Customer. roubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects. The X-Team mentors customers technical teams on the implementation of Exadata in their organizations and assists the customer's technical team in resolving any issues that affect that implementation or production activities.
