Amentum Cleared American Guard in Seoul, South Korea

Amentum is seeking a Cleared American Guard serve as a support function to the Site Security Manager. The CAG is also responsible for providing expertise in access control and physical security and executing security procedures used on US government sensitive projects, and ensure compliance, to prevent the implementation of clandestine devices into US Government facilities that house and/or process classified materials/discussions. Document security violations or deviations from the government provided Construction Security Plan (CSP) in accordance with the SSM site guidance.

Roles & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing detailed, methodical technical inspections of all individuals and/or vehicles seeking access to the site to ensure that no prohibited items are introduced into or onto the construction site and to ensure that no unauthorized individuals enter the site.

  • Maintain Access Control to the Site and ensure all personnel, including Security Personnel’s presence is recorded and captured via the IRIS system.

  • Must be able to master the ability to use all technical/computer assisted-personnel identification systems, (IRIS Manager)

  • Must be able to look up personnel on the Site Access Rosters.

  • Must be able to utilize Security Documentation Applications, on iPad – tablet technology.

  • Must possess an intermediate knowledge and understanding of computer navigation, and utilize support programs and documents for Material Delivery Requests, Visitor Access Requests, Portable Electronic Device Requests, Vehicle and Personnel Access Rosters, Enrolling Personnel into the IRIS Manager and Create Site Badges for Site Personnel and workers.

  • Write and submit Incident Reports that capture personnel or situational events that create a security vulnerability or pose a risk to life safety or the proper working order of the ACF/Construction site.

  • Represent the company and the client in a Professional Security Posture, and display a Firm, Courteous, and Tactful Customer Service approach to resolve Site Access issues and various personalities.

  • Read, understand and carry out Access Control, Vehicle, and Personnel Screening in accordance with the Accrediting Officer’s (AO) Construction Security Plan (CSP)

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 1 year in construction surveillance, technical surveillance countermeasures, industrial or government security

  • Must be able and willing to work outdoors in inclement conditions.

  • Must have the ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to work independently in a detail-oriented environment.

  • Must be self-motivated and interested in continuing his/her education in the standard practices and procedures of the CSS industry.

  • Must be willing to train and mentor entry-level (trainee) personnel.

  • Demonstrable extensive knowledge of the ICD-705 and applicable SCIF/SAPF standards.

  • Demonstrable extensive experience in writing, reviewing, and/or implementing Construction Site Security Plans for ICD-705 Chapter 4 projects.

Preferred Experience/Training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Top Secret/SCI clearance

  • Government approved CAG Certification

  • Minimum 1 year of construction related experience preferred.

  • 1 years of construction security experience to include access control.

  • 1 years in construction security surveillance, technical surveillance countermeasures, industrial or government security required.

  • Previous CAG experience at overseas or domestic project sites (2-3 projects).

  • Counterintelligence or Intelligence Analysis.

  • Construction surveillance, technical surveillance countermeasures, industrial or government security experience involving counterintelligence, construction quality assurance, and hands-on supervisory construction experience
