Amazon Business Development Manager, Amazon Global Selling Korea (Strategic Account Services - Essentials) in Seoul, South Korea

Description

We are looking for a results-driven individual who can drive the awareness and adoption of Strategic Account Services - Essentials by building pipelines to recruit Korea-based strategic sellers (brand owner or manufacturer) to maximize their presence and business in Amazon Global marketplaces. Amazon is developing infrastructure aggressively to support KR Sellers' business growth around the world, particularly in cross border selling area. Strategic Account Services - Essentials is one new initiative to provide Korean Sellers professional paid value-added services including account management services and business consulting services. You will be responsible for new customer acquisition, demand generation from medium to large corporates and driving business growth for this new service.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned senior sales with a background in ecommerce and affiliated industries. The candidate will have a track record of success at driving results, partnering cross functionally, and professionally representing clients’ needs/perspectives to the various stakeholders. The candidate will have a strong track record of supporting marketing initiatives, tactics, plans, processes, systems, and programs. The candidate will be known for accurate forecasting, building strong relationships, and analytical leadership skills. The candidate will thrive in a fast paced dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment and insist on the highest standards.

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive paid account service product adoption including account management service and consulting service

  • Work close with Account managers to ensure smooth customer end to end experience.

  • Develop, optimize and customize sales toolkit

  • Determine the best go-to-market approach and build strong Seller leads pipeline

  • Represent the Voice of Seller by working cross-functionally with marketing, sales operations, professional services, and product/tech

One way we deliver on this vision is by marketing to local country Sellers to persuade them to launch their products onto the platform thereby maximizing the quantity of items that they list while ensuring the highest quality of product images and information.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 5+ years of sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of inside sales experience

  • Knowledge of procurement and source to pay methods at small and medium businesses

  • Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level

  • Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent
