Responsibilities:
Foster Collaborative Relationships: Build and maintain productive, culturally sensitive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, ensuring a healthy and supportive workplace environment.
Promote Patient and Staff Development: Provide effective teaching to patients, families, and new staff, applying adult learning principles; serve as a mentor or preceptor when needed.
Deliver Holistic Patient Care: Use the nursing process to create individualized care plans that address clinical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs.
Ensure Effective Communication: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation and communicate effectively with care teams to support patient safety and continuity of care.
Support Professional Growth: Engage in ongoing professional development, participate in shared governance, and contribute to initiatives that enhance the quality of care.
Demonstrate Critical Thinking: Identify and address complex clinical and safety issues with sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
Commit to Quality Improvement: Actively participate in quality improvement efforts, identifying opportunities to enhance patient care and the practice environment.
Embrace Evidence-Based Practice: Utilize research and evidence-based methods to improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Education: BSN preferred
Licensure: Current RN license or Temporary Practice Permit (TPP). Multistate licensure may be required based on facility location.
Certifications: CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire. National certification preferred.

Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
Ability to maintain positive, caring relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting, and positioning patients.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively within a complex environment.
