Cranberry Area School District in Seneca, (Venango County) PA is accepting applications for the following position:
Elementary School Counselor
PDE Certification as Elementary and Secondary School Counselor/Elementary School Counselor
185 day position
Beginning Date: ASAP
We are seeking a dedicated school counselor to join our team. The school counselor will provide support and guidance to students, addressing their academic performance, social development, and emotional well- being. The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive, developmental guidance program that will assist all students in acquiring the skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to become effective students, responsible citizens and productive workers through academic, career, and personal/social education and development.
* Primary functions of the counselor at the elementary level are to conduct individual and small group counseling sessions, provide crisis intervention and support to students experiencing emotional or behavioral distress, deliver whole group and school wide programming in relation to social emotional learning and collaborate as an integral team member with teachers, administrators, and parents to support all students. *
