About the Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Framework Delivery Manger this site based position will develop and execute projects and task associated with the Jacobs Field Solutions Portfolio on the Sellafield Site in Cumbria. Candidates must be able to achieve security clearance if not already in place. Candidates will also be required to pass a Medical to prove fitness to work in a Radiological environment.


  • Execution of Electrical tasks in line with client requirements.

  • Engagement with the client to develop and define the scope via constructability reviews.

  • Be visible in the workplace and lead by example demonstrating the standards set by the business.

  • Support the preparation of estimates and budgets.

  • Ensure that everyone within the delivery team is capable and competent to undertake the assigned task.

  • Offer guidance to allocated staff and direct assistance where necessary.

  • Plan work activities and resources to meet task requirements safely and effectively.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Experience of working within Nuclear establishments & following Nuclear Professionalism Standards & Expectations 10 years + In depth knowledge of the legislative, regulatory, quality and environmental requirements relating to nuclear engineering projects.

  • Requirement to work in radiological environment, wearing relevant PPE.

  • IOSH Managing Safely qualified.

  • Site based on the Sellafield site.

  • Strong knowledge of the Sellafield working procedures and processes.

  • Experience in working within the Active Area on the Sellafield site with NEC3 delivery experience.

  • Understanding of the CDM Regulations 2015. with HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
