The Department of Human Services is seeking a Residential Services Supervisor at Selinsgrove Center. In this role, you will coordinate one or more living areas and oversee the support and services provided to individuals. Selinsgrove Center is located in a nice rural location just outside the Borough of Selinsgrove. We are only a couple of minutes from town, Selinsgrove Area Schools, and Susquehanna University. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will oversee various levels of staff, including offering direction to members of our interdisciplinary team in planning and organizing support services for individuals in their designated living areas. You will also provide functional supervision and direction to others to develop, implement, monitor, and revise individual support plans tailored to meet individual needs. Additionally, you will ensure active treatment to empower individuals in their decision-making and control over their lives. As the incident management point person, you will handle the reporting, review, and analysis of incidents to identify patterns, trends, and strategies that ensure the individual's health and safety. You will also represent the facility and administration by serving as a role model employee, adhering to facility policies, advocating for individuals with disabilities, and interacting professionally with staff and the public to ensure effective and efficient facility operations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Required to work one weekend day each month, one second shift each month, and three hours on the third shift every quarter. Overtime and travel as needed. FREE PARKING! QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years of professional experience providing therapeutic care and services for individuals with a developmental disability, which included the development and implementation of individual residential support plans and services, and possession of a current license to practice as a registered nurse, issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing or possession of a license to practice as a registered nurse obtained in another jurisdiction under the requirements which are acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing; or

One year of professional experience providing therapeutic care and services for individuals with a developmental disability, which included the development and implementation of individual residential support plans and services, and a bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences, education, or nursing; or Two years of professional experience providing therapeutic care and services for individuals with a developmental disability, which included the development and implementation of individual residential support plans and services, and a bachelor's degree.

Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
