DESCRIPTION OF WORK The primary responsibilities of this position include interacting directly with customers to confirm applicant identities, assist with application form completion, and input data into online driver license application software. Additionally, the role involves administering standardized knowledge tests to assess applicants' understanding of the vehicle code, driving regulations, and traffic control devices. Vision screenings for visual acuity are conducted using a telebinocular instrument for all applicants, and test results are entered into online software systems via a PC terminal. It is crucial to strictly follow driver and vehicle services' customer service policy, ensuring correct fee waiver codes are utilized and documented when necessary for customer transactions, in compliance with fee waiver guidelines.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 80 hours bi-weekly Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public. Legal Requirements: This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment.
