DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an Aide Trainee, you will be responsible and accountable for learning the duties of a Residential Services Aide and begin with a paid in-classroom and on-the-job training program. You will learn how to care for and assist people with Intellectual Disabilities living at the Selinsgrove Center. Upon successful completion of a six-month probationary period as an Aide Trainee, you will be promoted to a Residential Services Aide.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: The Department of Human Services provides excellent benefits, pay increases, paid leave and holidays, as well as opportunities for career advancement. Full-time employment. Work hours after training: 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) Rotating break days with every 3rd weekend off. Overtime: As needed. Travel: As needed.
