ZT Group Int’l Inc. dba ZT Systems seeks a Staff Process Operations Program Manager in Secaucus, NJ.Duties: • Driving operational readiness for PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) product and product enablement from development to end-of-life stage to meet customer requirements.• Working with internal cross-functional team members to establish the appropriate short and long-term agreements that will support time-sensitive projects and factory enablementschedules.• Ensuring all operational requirements are clearly communicated and aligned with all internal teams on the status and provide context on the information.• Working closely with the internal team, vendors, and customers to set the right expectations on product schedule and deliverables.• Proper customer communication in alignment with ZT’s business position.• Working fluidly in a highly cross-functional team environment involving manufacturing and product development teams, as well as supply chain specialists, manufacturing engineers, andlogistics personnel.• Planning, scheduling, and managing material readiness for delivering time-critical components to prototype builds during development. Including tracking and validation of the quality ofany incoming material.• Expedite deliveries and prepare risk orders as required to keep prototype builds and ramp-up on schedule.• Driving DFM (Design for Manufacturing) feedback of product at early enough stage of design to optimize the manufacturability and testability of the product.• Driving manufacturing test readiness and ensuring that the test process can be executed in a manufacturing environment.• Driving logistic readiness to ensure parts can be properly shipped to customers.• Driving, tracking, and reporting development build execution status and managing issues to closure to ensure operational readiness of the product.• Prior to mass production, and as part of ramp-up execution, ensuring the production and Planning team are prepared to manage the day-to-day delivery of the product to the customer.• Managing change management execution during the sustaining phase of the program.• Driving continuous improvement on operational launch and sustaining change management processes.• Driving quality issues to closure for a product during launch stages.• Utilizing metrics to improve the new product introduction process and product quality at launch and throughout the life of the program.• Assuring initial delivery of systems into Operations, and participating in End of Production/Transition cycle worldwide.Requires Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field plus 5 years of experience as a Quality Analysis Project Engineer, Supply Chain Consultant, or related role.Requires 5 years of experience in the following skills:• PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) process experience;• Technical analysis and data manipulation, including Microsoft Office, specifically Excel as a tool for analyzing data, looking for trends, or ability to translate into meaningful communication on issues observed.• PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) board BOMs (Bill of Materials) and test instrumentations, including AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), BFT (Board Function Testing), and MDA (Manufacturing Defect Analyzer).• Applying quality metrics including FPY (first pass yield), DPPM (defective parts per million) and CPK (process capability index) to help identify and resolve issues during product launches; and• Manufacturing process, both at PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) stage as well as integration, in order to speak to business or schedule impact based on decisions made for the project to help business for success.In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field plus 5 years of experience as a Quality Analysis Project Engineer, Supply ChainConsultant, or related role, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field plus 3 years of experience as a Quality Analysis Project Engineer, Supply Chain Consultant, or related role.Requires 3 years of experience in the following skills:• PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) process experience;• Technical analysis and data manipulation, including Microsoft Office, specifically Excel as a tool for analyzing data, looking for trends, or ability to translate into meaningfulcommunication on issues observed.• PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) board BOMs (Bill of Materials) and test instrumentations, including AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), BFT (Board Function Testing), and MDA(Manufacturing Defect Analyzer).• Applying quality metrics including FPY (first pass yield), DPPM (defective parts per million) and CPK (process capability index) to help identify and resolve issues during productlaunches; and• Manufacturing process, both at PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) stage as well as integration, in order to speak to business or schedule impact based on decisions made for theproject to help business for success.40 hours/week, $117,333 - $140,000 per year.
