Description

We are looking for a Junior SQL Programmer to support the maintenance and enhancement of product-based solutions that streamline client data and file submissions. The Junior Programmer will work on engineering client data to generate data streams. These solutions support automated production, fulfillment, inventory management, compliance reporting, and invoicing. This position has a broad impact on multiple departments and plays a critical role in driving efficiency, scalability, and profitability. You will assist in designing and developing Windows-based, web, and data-centric solutions. These solutions will integrate with other systems and devices, including barcode scanners, shipping systems, inventory management platforms, order management systems, and enterprise accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior developers and technical account managers on project development, testing, and commissioning automated systems.

• Design and maintain software deliverables that utilize Microsoft SQL Server for data storage.

• Develop integrations using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

• Participate in system and integration testing.

• Configure and deploy software applications and systems.

• Train end users on specific software applications and guide system owners on maintenance and support.

• Support, maintain, and enhance deployed software solutions.

• Document work, maintain time sheets, and ensure project objectives are met.

  Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Strong foundation in object-oriented design, data structures, multi-threaded programming, and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Familiarity with data modeling, SQL databases, and consistency models.

• Proficiency in MS .NET development (primarily using C# with Windows servers).

• Experience in relational database design, development, and support using Microsoft SQL Server.

• Understanding of performance analysis, tuning, and troubleshooting of software systems.

• Experience with rapid application development (RAD), agile, or similar methodologies.

Soft Skills:

• Eagerness to learn and apply expertise to new challenges.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively.

Preferred Experience:

• Microsoft certifications in related technologies.

• Experience in manufacturing environments.
