Vitamin Shoppe Industries, Inc. seeks Cloud Engineer in Secaucus, NJ.Duties: Developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices. Provisioning cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform to enable Vitamin Shoppe applications to run in the cloud. Actively work on and maintain security within and around the cloud using cloud networking technologies (VPN, firewalls etc). Ensure connectivity between applications, departments and third party vendors on an as needed basis, while isolating other(s). Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions. Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security. Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues. Designing and Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and best practices of modular cloud based systems / applications. Working with different technology teams within The Vitamin Shoppe to understand their cloud requirements and provision cloud resources.Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus 3 years of experience in related occupations. Requires 3 years of experience with the following: DevoPs; Cloud Computing; Terraform or coding tools; Major Cloud: AWS, GCP, or similar; CI/CD Systems. 100% Telecommuting is permitted.40 hours/week.
