Job Summary:

As The Children’s Place Social Media Brand Associate, you are responsible for driving the social media content strategy. ideation, execution across all organic social media channels. This includes overseeing content plans for monthly editorial calendar, social support plans for product launches/campaigns/activations, identifying and staying atop social trends, reporting on insights & owning community management. This role will work cross-functionally with The Children’s Place marketing teams and cross company contacts. Our ideal candidate is social and consumer journey obsessed with a team player attitude, is a multi-tasker that will reach deadlines in a fast-paced environment and has excellent communication & writing skills. This role will come up with new, creative (and measurable) ways to bring brand awareness, and engage and activate ‘Mom’ through multiple brand touchpoints.

Responsibilities:

Job Description Summary

  • Build out short & long-term social media content plans by platform

  • Regularly identify social media trends & strategize opportunities for the brand to engage and grow across all platforms.

  • Oversee the development of the social calendar across all organic social channels - including support for new campaigns, product launches & promotions.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functioning teams for ongoing social support for our digital and retail footprint

  • Partner closely with the creative team for content planning and creation of assets to support social holidays, new launches, etc.

  • Oversee community management across all social platforms (with flexibility on monitoring during big events, weekends or business-critical needs).

  • Stay up-to-date on emerging digital and social technology trends to ensure the brand is always on the cutting edge of all changes in the social space.

  • Reports on competitive brand activities and leading brands creating dynamic consumer engagement that are worthy of evaluation and monitoring.

  • Monitor and report regularly on product feedback, online reviews, brand sentiment, competitive, KPIs, and other performance metrics or goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum of 3+ years of progressive work experience in social media

  • In-depth understanding of social media platforms (specifically TikTok and Instagram)

  • Deep and proven knowledge of all aspects of social media and relevant platforms and community management\

  • Experience with data, reporting, presentations and distilling platform analytics & Insights

  • Experience with social content calendar planning and production cycles, including writing creative briefs

  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment & meet changing deadlines on multiple projects

  • Excellent verbal communication & writing skills

  • Works well under pressure & has a flexible & positive attitude

  • Attention to detail & ability to multitask

  • Ability to be flexible - social media happens in real-time!
