**WasteXperts - an on-site waste and recycling facilitator - is looking for a Waste Tech to join our team in our SeaTac, WA facility. 

**A Waste Tech drives our company pick-up trucks and other non-CDL vehicles and equipment. We're looking for candidates who take pride in hard work, being a team player, and making a difference in our community.

*Waste Tech Driver Responsibilities: *- Drivers safely operate a company vehicle and work independently to complete scheduled route - Report to shift and perform work daily with required personal protective equipment including but not limited to the steel toe, puncture-resistant boots - Safely utilize equipment and tools to complete work assignments (such as waste caddies, chute doors, tow hitches, compactors, ladders, etc.) - Conduct weekly truck inspections and report any issues - Service assigned properties on site by:

  • Sorting trash, recycling, and compostable waste into appropriate containers
  • Hauling bulky items off-site
  • Manually compacting waste
  • Sweeping/cleaning enclosures, trash rooms, and trash chute

Manage daily route assignments by:

  • Noting start and completion times
  • Taking before/after photos of services performed
  • Communicate with relevant departments to report/resolve issues and maintain a high-quality service
  • Submit appropriate paperwork as required to communicate notes and maintain route assignment

Requirements Requirements Waste Tech Shifts Available:

  • Full Time
  • Start: Monday - Friday 4 am
  • Overtime may be required

Waste Tech Qualifications/Physical Requirements:

Drivers must have a valid driver's license (non-CDL) and clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years or more than 2 minor violations including a handheld device in the previous 3 years).

Must have at least 2-years of consecutive driving experience as a licensed driver

Frequently lift items weighing 50-80 lbs.

Push/maneuver dumpsters and compactors weighing more than 500 lbs.

Stepping in/out of waste containers safely with the use of a ladder

Work independently to complete daily assignments
