We're looking for a Tool Room Assistant to keep track of all tools being used within the shop and on jobsites. It is also their responsibility to return, inspect, and catalog tools as they come in from jobs and from orders. The Tool Room Assistant should be able to ensure all tools are working properly and that the tool room is clean and organized with little to no supervision. Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero: Fill tool order requests for jobs and stage for delivery Return tools into inventory when they come back from jobs Keep the tool room clean and organized Inspect and test all tools and equipment for safety and function Receive tool orders, catalog, and assign tool numbers to new tools The Tool Room Assistant reports to Gene Cantrell - Tool Room Manager on a collaborative team working within our tool room at our Fabrication Shop. This role interacts with all levels and functions within the organization. Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role? You should have...
