We have an opportunity for a Technical Sales Representative to join our our Industrial Water sales team in North America. You will develop strong relationships with new and existing accounts and support the installed base at the customer level for our Codeline technology. As the world's leading manufacturer and most trusted name in membrane vessels, Pentair Codeline helps companies maximize the performance of their water treatment and purification systems. This is a technical sales role that will require you to develop a strong understanding of our technology to build short- and long-term value with technical and functional wins throughout the sales cycle. * This posting is for one position. Candidates can live anywhere in the U.S. within driving distance of a major airport. * #LI-Remote You will: Develop and grow the base Codeline business with existing original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and distributors as well as identify and develop new accounts. Identify and develop project opportunities for Pentair membrane housing and systems solutions with end-users, and EPC/A&E/OEM companies for water treatment related to industrial projects. Develop and maintain strong relationships built on mutual trust, respect, and cooperation with direct customers, consultants, engineers, channel partners, strategic accounts, and internal Pentair teams. Review tender/RFQ documents including terms and conditions of each tender/bid and summarize information for the proposal team. Develop tools for promoting the organization's capabilities to targeted markets in conjunction with the sales and marketing communications teams. Attend trade shows and assist in the selection and preparation of samples and promotional materials. Key Qualifications: Have earned a bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.). Have 3+ years of outside sales experience, selling process equipment, with commercial exposure to industrial customers. Experience with water or wastewater treatment equipment or processes as it relates to industrial manufacturers preferred. Have experience in developing conceptualized sales solutions. Strong technical aptitude, including ability to understand and interpret mechanical systems (processing, filtration, etc.), process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs), bills of material (BOM), and/or layout drawings. Ability to execute contract management, bid management, and commercial discussions on bids and tenders. Customer focused, results-oriented, and possess strong negotiation skills. Ability to speak Spanish or French a plus. Travel: Up to 40% overnight travel to meet with customers or business partners. International travel may be required. For California and New York City residents, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $78100 - $ 145000 / year.
