The team consists of Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Revenue Operations, Investor Relations, and Business Operations. The Finance team partners across all organizations in DocuSign to appropriately allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and facilitate the execution of our operational plans.This positionAs a Technical Revenue Accounting Manager, you have in-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, proficiency in accounting systems, and strong motivation to contribute to the achievement of an efficient monthly/quarterly/annual close and financial reporting process for the revenue team. You also have SOX experience and a collaborative mindset to co-lead our contract review cycle.This role will have a strong accounting and operational emphasis over the professional services revenue stream processes and controls, performing contract review of material and complex subscription contracts and assessing different revenue streams and rev rec patterns when sold together. You pay great attention to detail and the ability to deliver results under deadlines as well as working effectively cross-functionally in a rapidly changing environment. You will possess strong organizational, communication and management skills. You will lead a team of 1+ revenue accountants and partner with Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Billings on contract review and control execution to ensure revenue recognition and financial reporting goals are met. You will be ambitious with the ability to provide solutions for issues identified. The position requires a "hands on" person who is flexible, hard-working and able to work well under pressure.This position is a people manager role reporting to Revenue Accounting Senior Manager and is designated Flex.ResponsibilitiesReview contracts and analyze revenue recognition arrangements to ensure accordance with ASC 606 and related US GAAP pronouncements and company policyEnsure appropriate internal controls are in place and operating effectively, and ensure maintenance of control documentation for revenue related processesLead, coach and mentor your direct reports in order to take an active interest in their career and developmentOwn and lead month-end and quarter-end professional service revenue close processesPartner with Customer Success to ensure complete and accurate professional services reporting for month-end closeReview Professional Service revenue analyses to support accurate revenue accounting under ASC 606Review account reconciliations for revenue, unbilled AR and other related accounts for the Professional Service revenue streamInitiate, review and implement process improvements and automation to the quote-to-cash pr
