This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's multiple Blue Moon lander product lines. To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface. Our MK2 Crew Lander mission will demonstrate the lander's core capabilities - including the privately funded BE-7 landing engine, precision landing sensors, and integrated power and propulsion architecture - as a precursor to certifying the vehicle for use by NASA as part of the Artemis lunar exploration program. The team building this vehicle is rethinking how space systems are designed, with a high-performance architecture, efficient reusability, and rapid design iteration. As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will work to design, analyze, build, test, integrate, deliver, and operate fluids and propulsion subsystems on Lunar landers. Special Mentions Relocation provided Occasional travel up to 15% of the time 1st Shift: 8am - 5pm Interviews will include a technical assessment Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide project leadership to team tasked to develop, build, test and deliver a complete Lunar Lander Fluids and Propulsion system Define plans to meet contractual and customer deliverables. Work directly with customers to understand their requirements, concerns and opportunities. Develop program plans to meet milestones and deliverables. Manage progress of the collaborative team toward the objectives, manage requirement and scope changes Manage cost and schedule performance. Communicate performance, risks, opportunities and recommend changes to improve Implement efficient processes to track cost and schedule performance across the team, and inform programmatic decision making. Ensure delivery of program and contractual level products. Selectively engage in solving emergent program level issues that impact team success Work with suppliers and Blue Origin groups to coordinate delivery of hardware to meet vehicle schedules and program milestones Mentor the team with strategies and best practices for cost and schedule management of their components and areas This position reports to the Fluids and Propulsion Integrated Product Team Lead. This is not people manager position and will have no direct reports. Seeking a highly qualified program manager to spearhead management of program scope, schedule and cost. Qualifications: B.S. in Engineering or related technical subject area PMP certification, MBA, or equivalent business training. 15+ years of experience in complex project and program management Experience developing, linking, and managing execution of an integrated master schedule Demonstrated ability to provide cost and schedule leadership of a team Track record of deliverin
