Amazon's Canada Supply Chain Excellence (SCE) team is looking for a talented, driven, and highly analytical leader to help redefine how Amazon fulfills customer demand for some of our largest businesses.This Sr. Program Manager (PM) for Retail Supply Chain will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to design and accelerate supply chain programs, which drive profitability savings and operational efficiencies. The Sr. Program Manager plays a critical role in delivering the optimal customer experience by ensuring we have the right product quantities, in the right places, at the right time.Specifically, this individual will lead the effort on optimal sourcing of products through channels such as direct import, discounted bulk purchases etc. The Sr. PM will design and drive inventory optimization and profitability free cash flow (FCF) savings opportunities with internal teams in Supply Chain, Operations, Transportation, Finance, and other Retail product families.SUPPLY CHAIN* Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives to continuously improve overall cost structure and customer experience* Drive complex business analysis to identify business opportunities to improve revenue and profitability* Drive improvement in inventory availability, increasing inventory efficiency and ensuring that the company makes efficient supply chain decisions* Work cross functionally to identify and build best practices and process improvements* Drive cross-functional projects to support new strategic initiatives and business opportunities for the organizationVENDOR MANAGEMENT* To identify, define and execute operational changes with vendors in partnership with Vendor Management team to drive supply chain improvements* Establish strong vendor relationships with key/strategic vendorsAUTOMATION ENHANCEMENT* Work closely with internal teams to drive multi-system process changes* Drive scalable solutions for specific opportunities and issues* Bachelor's Degree* Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements* 5+ years of experience delivering cross functional projects* 5+ years of experience in program or project management* 5+ years of experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams* Understanding of P&LsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
