Amazon Sr. Product Manager - Tech , Worldwide Grocery Stores Technology, WWGST (Level 6) in Seattle, Washington

As a Sr. Product Manager - Tech (Sr. PMT) in the Worldwide Grocery Stores Technology (WWGST) organization, this role leads product management for the Culinary Technology (CT) program. The CT program is responsible for the software and services for Made-to-Order (MTO) food ordering, food preparation, and grocery fulfillment for all Whole Foods Market (WFM), Fresh, and Go stores, worldwide. These services enable Amazon and WFM customers to purchase MTO food items from 600+ WFM stores and provide WFM Team Members (TMs) and Amazon Associates (AAs) with the tools to manage, prepare, and fulfill MTO orders. The Sr. PMT will partner with business and engineering teams across Amazon to identify opportunities to improve our customer and TM experiences. Leveraging these opportunities, the role owns developing the roadmap of innovation that aims to build a comprehensive solution through the entire customer's buying journey, while guiding the evolution of our technical architecture to turn the headwinds of today into the core capabilities of tomorrow.

Key job responsibilities

As the Sr. PMT, your responsibilities will include:

• Own and define the feature design and technology approach, managing tradeoffs and dependencies with key stakeholders

• Understand market trends and build business cases for new product opportunities.

• Dive deep into customer feedback to represent the voice of the customer to the engineering team and other stakeholders

• Drive feature launches including working with business development, marketing, leadership, customer support, engineering, UX, operations, solution architects, and other product management team members

• Ability to establish and monitor business metrics to drive the team’s progress toward goals

• Review with stakeholders status, progress and results of projects

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
